The story about an unfortunate European merchant who made a fatal mistake by offering a glass of sour Slovene wine to an old Japanese warrior. A mistake that costed him his head (besides the glass).
The Katana is intended for a more serious project, but I got this funny idea while analysing behaviour of wine in a glass during a dinner. I couldn't resist the temptation to realise it. I used the sharp edges (cut glass, katana blade...), spilled blood (in fact wine, but the subsonscious can't tell the difference) and some intentional breaking of composition rules (the reflection on the blade quite close to the edge of the image), in order to create a certain amount of feeling of uneasiness in observer.
